CATCOBD-City Apparel Tex Co. Bangladesh.CATCOBD was founded in 1989 and is located at Mohakhali in central Dhaka, Bangladesh. We started with manufacturing ready-to-wear men’s and women’s tops, but the next milestone in our evolution was in 1997 when we started producing knitwear.
In addition to our direct manufacturing expertise and due to a continued demand from our overseas clients, in 2002 we launched a one-stop sourcing service. Our continuous efforts to make a reliable one-stop service for the export of ready-made garments have enabled us to build a team of highly-qualified professionals, and have earned us industry-wide recognition.
With a team of competent and skilled professionals, CATCOBD uses state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, specializing in woven tops, bottoms, outwear and knitwear. Our professionals provide operational and logistical support to ensure production runs as smoothly as possible, checking quality at every stage of product development. All daily functions and processes are done under on-line inspection and supervised by professional qualified inspectors.
CATCOBD’s in-house compliance processes ensure meeting stringent client requirements. Highly experienced in compliance, the team also focuses on key aspects of corporate and social responsibility audits, as well as product testing to ensure that all our products are compliant and can enter the destination market legally. We pay particular attention to internationally recognised standards for textile materials and products.
We believe in prompt and timely delivery of goods, which is essential for repeat orders and is a necessary requirement for meaningful long-term business relationships. CATCOBD has a policy of securing affordable prices for our customers, in addition to maintaining quality standards and timely delivery schedules.

Effective raw material sourcing is also a key point of our mission. Our materials are sourced both locally and internationally, from countries such as China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Taiwan Thailand, Turkey and further afield. CATCOBD sources all required materials through its sister company, Shanghai Hua Shen, located in Shanghai, China. All selections of raw materials are done under the approval and recommendation of our respective customers, particularly ensuring that no harmful chemicals are involved in the raw materials.
